This book was brilliant the best bit was went they went in the slimy tunnel and found a nest with lots of eggs and baby insects in it. This was a very good story

I loved this book because it was about battle and adventure. My favourite character was Evan because she was a girl and she dressed up as a boy to go to Avantia to train. Owen, Evan's brother, was meant to go but he had a broken leg so Evan had to go. She trained very hard and a new good beast arose from somewhere but it was under a spell. They had to see which warrior the golden armour wanted to be on and it wanted to be on Evan. Then a show-off found a necklace on her neck and before she went to battle, she had to tell the truth but Tom didn't mind. She went with Sam, another brilliant warrior and went to find the Tagus the horseman. When they found him, they went to find Amictus and the evil wizard Maximus. Soon, they started to fight and Amictus soon became a good beast again. Maximus wasn't defeated but he went away to find another beast. They came back to Avantia and Evan was very surprised to find Owen there. She was very happy and they all had fun. It interested me because it taught me some skills that I might need to use in battle. I would recommend it to people who love battle and adventure.

I think you should read this book because it is a story right right from the beginning so it makes it more interesting than any other book I have read!!!! :):)
