I liked this book because it was exciting.I would recommend this book to Thomas my friend.All of the characters were good but my favourite was Tom.Tom was bit clumsy in one bit of the book when we was trying to slash at Convol's tail.He missed.Its a story in a city called Tavania.Tom's mother is helping Tom,she knew the master of beasts could be Dalton. I can't wait to read the next book which is called Hellion.

This was another really good book by Adam Blade.My favourite character was Convol because he couldn't stand the heat even though he lives in a desert wich interested me because lizards are cold blooded it even says that in the title. Convol the cold blooded brute.Cold blooded animals need to be near sun so so there body head doesn't drop to low.
