There was once a stonecutter who wasn’t happy, so he wished to be lots of other things instead. Part of the Usborne Reading Programme developed with reading experts at the University of Roehampton. Includes several pages of reading-related puzzles.

The stonecutter - he wanted to be the sun and then he was the rain and first before that he was a rich man and then he was a mountain and then he was himself.

“I liked it when the stonecutter said he wanted to be the sun, the cloud and the mountain. It was funny when the mountain spirit kept smiling and doing the wishes without the stonecutter knowing”. I would recommend this book.
