Learnt about Round houses, Pompei being buried and Warriors in China. Visited a real roundhouse with Granny and Grandad.

Digging Up the Past is a really good book for children who want to be archaeologists when they grow up. It was very shocking to discover about people being buried alive in the Marquis' tomb!

The book was very good. The book was about digging up things from the past by Romans and Greeks. The book interested me because it was about things from the past. I like history. I would recommend it to other people.

I thought it was good because it told me lots of stuff about what people used to do a long time ago, such as the stuff in ancient egypt and about a world war two plane that crashed into the sea.
