i thourght it was quite boring at first but the thurver i read it the more exiting it got. fatty because the is funny and i love his name! I liked the last chappter because it was the finding out who hade set the cottage on fire! yes because although the first one is a bit borring my sister said the overs were not boring [she has read them all]

I loved this book because it is a mystery, because I could try to solve the mystery along with the book characters. I like to feel involved in the story. The person who burnt down the cottage was someone who I never expected! This story kept me wondering all the way until the end. Each chapter led on from the next, but each chapter was about a separate piece of the story. There are a lot of long chapters, I felt like some of the chapters were a bit long and I wanted to put my bookmark in and end them sooner.

Highly recommended. If you like a adventure this book is for you. Sometimes it's a tiny bit scary but over all it's a great book with a happy ending. I like all the characters except from Mr goon and Mr hicks .
