The White Horse of Zennor
Michael Morpurgo
A thrilling collection of myths, legends and ghost stories from War Horse author and former Children’s Laureate Michael Morpurgo.
Since the beginning of time, strange and mysterious things have happened here … At the furthest edge of Britain, where the sea gently washes over the land and myths brush against reality, lies Zennor. Set in a church town where men become beats and ghosts roam freely, these are haunting and unforgettable tales where magic lies around every corner. Morpurgo is the master storyteller of such modern classic children’s books as An Eagle in the Snow, Listen to the Moon, Private Peaceful, and An Elephant in the Garden. He has written more than one hundred books for children and won the Whitbread Award, the Smarties Award, the Circle of Gold Award, the Children’s Book Award and has been short-listed for the Carnegie Medal four times.Reviews

so i liked it because it has different selection on stories all in one book! my favourite character was cherry because she likes to collect shells and make things out of them like necklaces but in most of the mini story's they leave it on a cliff hanger and never come back to that story

I think this book is a really good book because it has 5 small stories inside it which are all really heartwarming especially Gone To Sea which is about a young boy who has a twisted foot so he cannot swim or run with his brothers but then a man called Sam says to swim in the sea because it would make his foot better so he goes to swim where his brothers learnt to swim and a seal helps him to swim and shows him his friends so he goes to live with the seal and his friends
