A fantastic children’s crime story from the world’s best-loved children’s author, Enid Blyton.

this was a very mysterious book with endless twists, turns and cliffhangers. it is based on 5 kids, Pip, Bets, Daisy, Larry and Fatty, accompanied by his faithful dog, Buster. they discover that the whole town is receiving spiteful letters revealing their darkest secrets, including pip and bets maid and housekeeper. although it was exciting, it was dull at times, making you want to skip that part. my favourite character was buster, since I am a fan of dogs and loved his loyalty and aggression towards mr goon, an angry policeman that is detested by the find-outers. I would recommend it to someone who like mystery and a story build up, and a plot twist.

The most confusing part of the book was when they thought one character it would be who wrote the spiteful letters then change their minds on a different on a different character and at the end it was the character they didn't would be. I strongly recommend this book.
