I thought that the funniest character was Tinker because I was funny when he turned into a say.. a Volvo and then into a Jaguar and I thought that Uncle Quentin was funny in his forgetfulness and when Tinker said he poured his coffee into his porridge instead of milk and he didn’t realise it wasn’t milk! At times it was a bit scary for example the tales of the wreckers and how Jacob and Ebenezer pounced on Julian and Dick and how Jacob locked them into the lighthouse and was being dramatic like.. “ We’re going to starve!” And how they told Tinker to drink lemonade slowly. I really enjoyed that book and recommend it to mysteries and a bit scary books.

I like this book because the Famous Five and Tinker set up a very, very, very old lamp to get themselves resuced out of Tinker's lighthouse because two thieves had locked them in.

This is a fiction book and suitable for both boys and girls. The Famous Five books are thrilling adventure tales about four children, who are related, and their dog. One holiday they go to live at a lighthouse which is owned by a friend. The children hear stories from an old man about treasure which had been washed up on a beach from a shipwreck. It had been hidden in a cave system close to the lighthouse by two brothers. Their father had been responsible for the ship crashing by signals he gave to the ship which steered it into the rocks. Soon, the brothers realise that the children know about the treasure. They lock them up and keep them prisoner in the lighthouse to prevent them interfering with their plans to recover the treasure from the cave system and get it away once and for all. Will the Famous Five be able to escape and save the treasure? My favourite character is Julian because he is confident, brave and always tries to do the right thing. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in reading exciting adventure novels.

The book which I have reviewed is Enid Blyton’s nineteenth Famous Five book titled “Five go to Demon’s Rock”. It is a fiction book and suitable for both boys and girls. They lock them up and keep them prisoner in the lighthouse to prevent them interfering with their plans to recover the treasure from the cave system and get it away once and for all. Will the Famous Five be able to escape and save the treasure? My favourite character is Julian because he is a confident, brave and always tries to do the right thing. This book is similar to the first Famous Five book called “Five on Treasure Island” as both books include valuable treasure and smugglers. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in reading exciting adventure novels.

I thought this book was super. My favourite character was Mischief because he was so funny when he threw raisins at Joanna and Aunt Fanny. I would recommend this book for 6-18 for it has lots of mystery.

19th in this series. This book is fictional, about Julian, Dick, George, Anne and Timothy the dog going to live in a lighthouse called Demon’s Rock along with Tinker, a boy who owns it. In the old days wreckers were at work on the coasts at night and there are some caves that the five plan to explore. Little do they know that first their belongings are stolen, then they are locked in the lighthouse. What are they to do? My favourite characters are Julian; Dick; George; Anne; Tinker and the dog. I really recommend this to you, whatever age you are.
