I enjoyed this book. My favourite character was Morgan because if it wasn’t for his deafening call to the dogs they would have never been able to escape the men. I would recommend this book for 6-18 for there is a lot of mystery.

I liked Julian, Dick and Aily. I like Julian and Dick because they're big boys like me. I like Aily because she shows the Famous Five a house called Old Towers and how to get in it. I also like the book because the Famous Five all lived together in an old hut.
