My favourite character was the dog Timothy because he bit Rookie the villain's hand so he would stay away from the children Ann, Julian ,George, Richard and Dick . Ann, Julian ,George and Dick go on a cycling tour and found Richard . Richard pretended to ask his parents to go to his aunts but when he went there his aunt wasn't home and he saw Rookie one of his fathers old bodyguard .Richard use to tell tales on Rooky so Rooky chased him.

This book was quite scary as Dick got kidnapped as they thought he was another boy. It was really exciting to see the children work out where Dick was and rescue him. They were very brave. Thank goodness Jo was able to save the children when they all got locked up.

I would recommend this book with the other 20 in the series. My favourite character is Dick because he is one of the youngest but also the bravest.

I really enjoyed this book as they are such heartwarming stories and I just love Timmy the dog. The children always end up having an adventure with Timmy but they work together and it is always ok in the end.

The most exciting bit was when Dick got kidnapped. Richard was going to be kidnapped but they thought that Dick was Richard. The man was trying to kidnap Richard because Richard had told lies that got the man trying to catch them in at lot of trouble.
