World Record Attempt

World Record Attempt

World Record Attempt image

Over the past 4 days children, adults and young volunteers across the country have visited their local library in their thousands to try and set a new world record. A huge thank you to everyone who visited their local library and pledged over the weekend – fingers crossed we’ve done enough to set a new world record.

Libraries and The Reading Agency are currently getting together all the evidence we need to submit to Guinness World Records, so while we’re busy doing this, why not pop down to your local library and sign up to Record Breakers!
Pop back here soon to find out whether or not we have managed to get into the Guinness World Records book.

And don’t worry if you weren’t able to take part in the record attempt, there are still loads of other ways you can get involved with Record Breakers this summer!
