Hi, my name’s Nessie

Hi, my name’s Nessie and I think it’s very unfair that people call me a monster. Yes, I’m big, and a little unusual looking, but big is beautiful in some people’s eyes. My main problem is that people are always trying to hunt me down. Well, they won’t find me, because I hang out at the bottom of the lake, reading. Sometimes, I come up to the surface, and have a look around, but I’m always careful. I only peep my head above the surface of the water. If I stay for too long, people will just start gawking and taking pictures. It’s sooo embarrassing.

I love to read, especially action and adventure stories. The trouble is, my books are always getting soggy. If only someone would invent an underwater e-reader. Now, that would be something I would want to get hold of! So kids, before I go, why don’t you tell me what you love reading?
