Boo! From Havering Libraries
Ruth, Havering Libraries

Boo! Did we scare you? We have been having so much fun with Creepy House this Summer in Havering Libraries. All our libraries have special decorations, the picture is our gravestones at Gidea Park Library.
We are going to be answering your questions and chatting about books and fun library things this week here – and we are so excited to be able to chat to you all about what you are reading.
So, first question – what is your favourite book you have read so far this Summer? I read If I Stay by Gayle Forman a little while ago and thought it was fabulous! And they are going to be making a film of it – so super excited.
Feel free to let us know what you are up to this Summer – and of course, how you are getting on with the Summer Reading Challenge!
how do I find out the secrets of the catastrophic kitchen, the sinister sitting room and the awful upstairs.
Hi Professor! – to find the secrets you need to type in the code – the codes are on the stickers sheets which you need to collect from your library. As you read your six books you will collect sticker sheets 1, 2 and 3 and each sheet has a code for you to type in to unlock the secrets of the house. Good luck!

Hi Lord Grip,
You can always carry on reading books and chat with your friends about what you have read! In Havering we are running the Arts Award for our children who finish early – so it might be worth checking if your local library is running anything extra. If not, why not ask if you can do something extra – make a poster, write a review. Never be bored!!!
