Mr Gum and the Cherry Tree: Bk. 7

I think that throughout the series Mr Gum is such a mean character. He's always trying to ruin everything in Lamonic Bibber. My favourite characters are Polly because she's daring, adventurous and kind and Jake the dog because he's cute and fluffy. I would recommend it to someone else because it's really funny.

I thought this book was very good because it was funny, imaginative and fun. It was very cherry like because it had a whole song about spitting cherry seeds at billy. I would definitely recommend the book if not the whole series.

I thought it was funny and good. My favourite character was Jake the dog because he is friendly and cute. The story was good and a bit funny. The story was about a cherry tree that has an old legend about it but MrGum hid in it and made the townsfolk believe he was the legend. But he was not, he has was pretending to be and made them give their most important thing in their life but Polly stopped him and saved the townfolk. I would firmly recommend this book to people that like MrGum.

I like this book because it is full of amusement, it leaves suspense, its adventurous and it makes you really keen to see what happens next! My favourite character are padlock (the dancing bear), Polly and Jonothan ripples because they saved the day and were good-hearted. I would recommend this book to a person who likes adventure and funny books!

The funny mr gum books return with a strange tree or is it just another trick by the stinky man himself. My favourite character was galloping bill who may have been someone else. Neigh! I would recommend this book especially if you have read the other books as it is just as fun and silly as the others The truth is a lemon meringue!

I liked this book because there was a person called old granny and she leaded the whole town to a talking tree. It was called Runtus but nobody knew it was Mr Gum in the tree. So polly and Allen went to investigate the tree. All of Allen tylet’s students went wild and turned into goblins. Allen found pets and the pets had pets!!! Later the pets gave birth. At the end polly and Allen had an idea to un-control the town. Polly let go of all the pets and they ate all the leaves on the tree. Then all the towns folk got very mad and they started chasing Mr Gum and billy. Billy dressed up as a horse and the two of them got away. People called the pair of the slippery slipper since they always slip away. It is so funny I definitely recommend this book.
