When 17 year old Isabella Swan moves to Forks, Washington to live with her father she expects that her new life will be as dull as the town.
But in spite of her awkward manner and low expectations, she finds that her new classmates are drawn to this pale, dark-haired new girl in town. But not, it seems, the Cullen family. These five adopted brothers and sisters obviously prefer their own company and will make no exception for Bella.
Bella is convinced that Edward Cullen in particular hates her, but she feels a strange attraction to him, although his hostility makes her feel almost physically ill. He seems determined to push her away – until, that is, he saves her life from an out of control car.
Bella will soon discover that there is a very good reason for Edward’s coldness. He, and his family, are vampires – and he knows how dangerous it is for others to get too close.

this book was really good! my favourite character was probably Alice because she was accepting and kind. i thought Edward was a bit creepy because he watched Bella sleep? Bella could get really annoying at times. she was so clingy and she would do anything for Edward. but i liked the whole Cullen family. not Jessica though

This breathtaking novel has been on my wish list for years; I instantly fell in love with Stephenie's chilling story from the first chapter. The love between Bella and Edward is indescribable- I felt calmed and happy when they had good moments together, I think it would be lovely if that were real. I have grown up reading fantasy or romance books- my favourite- but never in one book. This is a favourite for sure and I would definitely recommend to all young adult readers.

I loved this book! The story was really compelling and I loved the dynamics between Edward and Bella. I really can’t wait to read the rest in the series as it only took me 2 days.

I watched the film before and that was okay. The reason why I am raiting this book only two stars is because i don't really like love stories..

I would recommend this book to harry potter lovers because I get Harry potter vibes from it. My favroute person in the book is Bella any day probably because she is mysterious about Edward at the start but when the books go on they seem to like each one and other.

Twilight is a romance, fantasy, young adult fiction novel all about a vampire-human love story.MY favourite characters are Bella Swan(protagonist) and Edward Cullen(vampire boy).I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves vampires and loves a good mystery.

I thought it was very interesting and I would love to read it again some time. I thought it wasn't to scary or too gory and romance. I liked Alice and Edward and Bella. I would recommend it to some people 11 and over.

I read this after the first 4 books in the Vampire Diaries, because I thought it would be similar, but it's not got many similarities. This is why I didn't enjoy it too much, but I still liked the storyline and lots of the characters. (Alice is my favourite.) I would recommend this book, but don't read it thinking that it will be the same as Vampire Diaries! They are both different and fantastic in their own ways.
