Dear friends,
I LOVE-LOVE-LOVE sharing my adventures as a classroom hamster with all my friends. But sometimes my paw gets tired from so much writing! To give it a rest, I've written some shorter tales that are every bit as funny and exciting as my According to Humphrey books. They're called Humphrey's Tiny Tales and they've even got illustrations! (I'm quite pleased at how cute I look in the pictures.)
I'm unsqueakably excited to share my new stories with you and I think Humphrey fans and new younger readers will be excited, too!
Your furry friend,
Humphrey
My Creepy-Crawly Camping Adventure
In this new Tiny Tale, Humphrey joins his friends from Room 26 on a camping adventure in the garden. But when night falls Humphrey hears a spooky howling noise - could there be creepy-crawly creatures outside his tent? When Humphrey plucks up the courage to investigate he discovers some BIG-BIG-BIG surprises!
Illustrated throughout with black and white line illustrations by Penny Dann.
Batty's efforts to impress visitors at the zoo fail, but he is determined to be popular like the other animals. First he goes to the penguin pool but the water is cold and he doesn't like fish. Then he tries the gorilla enclosure but he doesn't have any fleas for the gorillas to pick off him. He tries to laze in the sun with the lions but its far too bright for his sensitive eyes. When eventually he returns to his bat cave he finds that everyone else is trying to be like him, hanging upside down. This clever and witty story is brought to life with Batty's upside down view of his surroundings, involving the reader in turning the book upside down with him. With its warm-hearted theme it is sure to delight readers young and old.

""A laugh-out-loud story of rodent mayhem. This book has it all!"" - Lenny Lemmon (aka expert boredom buster)
Join Lenny and his best friends Sam and Jess in their hysterical hijinks. Expect animals on the loose, paranormal invasions, shut down schools and lots of laughs!
It's Olden Days Day and Lenny is determined his class will win the competition. In fact he is certain of it because he's brought in something special ... a RAT! (They totally had those everywhere in the olden times.)
But what he wasn't banking on was it escaping and leaving small, gruelly footprints all over the classroom and A LOT of screaming (because Lenny's rat is ACTUALLY a wild rat found by the back of the chip shop).
Can the three kids round up the rat before more damage is done? Or will they end up in the headmaster's office, again. Maybe, but one thing is for certain, they're going to need a bigger net!

This rhythmic story counts up the bugs eaten by a small green frog - and tells how he must let them all go when an alligator tries to eat him! There's a small, green frog on a half-sunk log in the middle of the bog. He eats one tick, two fleas, three flies, four slugs and five snails - and he gets a lot bigger. Then his log starts to rise, and a hungry alligator appears, ready to eat the big, fat frog. But the frog opens his mouth very wide and out come...five snails, four slugs, three flies, two fleas and one tick. The frog grows smaller, the alligator goes away, and the bugs and the frog learn their lesson. The bugs in the bog keep away from the frog, and the frog NEVER sits on a half-sunk log!
