An excited group of children from Castleview Primary School in Edinburgh enjoyed a day to remember with the new Children’s Laureate Malorie Blackman, at Craigmillar Library.

In Scotland, we run the Summer Reading Challenge in partnership with Tesco Bank and libraries, and Malorie Blackman was visiting Edinburgh for the official launch.

If you live in Scotland you’ll be able to sign up to the Tesco Bank Summer Reading Challenge very soon. Start dates vary so you’ll need to check with your local library.

You’ll have to wait a bit longer in England and Wales as we won’t be launching the Challenge until 13 July.
