The third book in the fifth series of the exciting adventure stories that are as gripping as a computer game! Great for boys, with a huge collectability factor bolstered by the collectors’ cards in the back of the books, and links to an excellent interactive website.

I liked the power they had in the gloves, which made things sticky. His weakness was the eye.

I really liked that if you were to just take a stone off Rokk and he would fall apart then he would just come back together again.

Tom had to climb Death Ledge to find the prize for helping him against Rokk. The magic gloves were for climbing with. Rokk had a green enchantment in his eye socket. Rokk was about to crush Tom with his fist but Tom dived out of the way in the last second.

I loved Rokk because Tom had to reach the jade in his eye and it wasn't too hard but was hard to get the jade from his eye. I also liked the way he was so tall and could turn into an avalanche.

I liked when Tom got the jade out when he crawled into the eye socket because Rokk barely has eye sockets.

Rokk the walking mountain is evil because the evil wizard Velmal enchanted him with evil magic, he can reform himself because he's made of boulders, pebbles and dust. I'd recommend it to my friends.

I thought it was great. Tom had to free Rokk from Velmal's curse. Tom freed Rokk by removing a jade from Rokk's eye. At the end, Freya tried to throw a rock at Tom while he climbing a tree and then Tom discovered something. I would recommend this book to seven year olds who like Beasts and exciting books.

I enjoyed this book because I like adventure, climbing mountains and mythical beasts. I liked Tom best because he is the one with all the powers.

It's really fun because Tom is always battling beasts. He and his best friend Elenna go on quests and always defeat each beast. My favourite person is Tom because he is always battling to save his kingdom Avantia. I would recommend it to everyone who likes adventures and who like beasts and demons.

I liked that the rocks reformed back into a beast after Tom tried to defeat him

Rokk is a giant walking mountain. He is good, but he was turned evil by Velmal. Once he is turned evil, he crushes the village of Tion. Some bats attack him, but he kills one or two of them. Tom defeats him when he takes the piece of Jade from his eye-scoket. He doesn't have eyes, he just has big eye-sockets. This is a tough battle for Tom because he has to use the magic gloves, made from spiders' webs, to climb up Rokk. I enjoyed this battle because it was interesting. It kept me turning the pages, but I knew that Tom would never die.

I really liked this book because if Tom actually crushed the Beast it would just reform. He managed to defeat the Beast by pulling out the green gem in his eye.
