Hip hip hooray, we have a winner!

Nine year old Joe from Gloucestershire has been awarded top prize for writing our judges’ favourite rap of the 2016 Summer Reading Challenge writing competition. We had lots of brilliant entries this year so it was a difficult choice, but the judges were all impressed with Joe’s funny rap.

Read Joe’s winning rap below!

Fastest, highest, biggest, best
You broke the record and you past the test
Record breakers let me here you shout,
Im going crazy for the tallest sprout.
Crazy, weird and unusual too
Tallest, fanciest and the scariest…. BOO.
Sporty records are quite cool
But the ones about food make me drool
We all love records, isn’t it true
When you break a record you go WAHOO!

Pretty good, right? Let us know what you think in Chat.

Well done Joe!
