Hi, my name’s Yeti.

I live up here in the snowy mountains. It’s always snowing here you know, it never stops. I bet you probably like snow don’t you? You probably love building snowmen and having snow ball fights. Well, I can’t stand the stuff! It’s sooo cold for starters, and it is very easy to get lost when everything around you is so white!

People are frightened of me. I guess that’s because I’m hairy and scary but I’ll let you into a secret. I’m even more frightened of them. I’m so shy, that whenever I see anybody I roar and run as fast as I can in the other direction. I like to sit by myself, on a snowy mound and read one of my favourite books. Who needs friends when you’ve got a good book to read? Actually, if I’m honest, I do get a bit lonely sometimes. But I’m not sure anybody wants to be friends with a scary Yeti like me. Sniff, sniff.
