Hello, I am Mermaid.

I knew it was going to be a sunny day today. You see, I can always tell what the weather is going to be like. That’s what Mermaids are best at. It’s also why sailors are always trying to find us. Sometimes they try to catch us too, so I have to dive off the rocks and swim down to the very bottom of the sea where they can’t follow. I love to read books about human girls, girls with real legs! I can’t imagine what it must be like to have legs. Maybe you can tell me! Sometimes I dream about it and when I wake up I feel a bit sad that I have a tail like a fish. But then I start to swim and I feel happy again. Because swimming through the sea and looking at all the wonderful creatures of the ocean is magical.
