Very, very soon there will all kinds of myth-related fun happening in libraries across the country, as part of the Summer Reading Challenge 2014. Why not get yourselves into the spirit of things early with our latest competition?

There’s a set of three great fairy tales and myths to be won – Greek Myths: Stories of Sun, Stone and Sea by Sally Pomme Clayton and Jane Ray, Tales from Hans Christian Andersen by Naomi Lewis and Emma Chichester Clark and Tales from Grimm by Antonia Barber and Margaret Chamberlain.

PLUS £100 of Frances Lincoln books for your school, Chatterbooks children’s reading group or library.

How to enter

All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is to draw a scene from your favourite myth or fairy tale and send it to us in the post, along with your email address and website username.

Terms and Conditions

  • The closing date for the competition is 30 June 2014.
  • Competition is open to UK and Eire residents only, and entrants must be aged 12 years or under.
  • The judges’ decision is final.
  • If you win a prize, you will be contacted by a member of the Summer Reading Challenge team to arrange postage. Any prize that is not claimed within three weeks will be reassigned to a runner up.
