Fiction. I liked the little girl. It’s a sad story and I wouldn’t recommend it.

I like this book because the girl once had interest in the world but when she took her heart away she was so sad she didn't take notice of nature anymore. She met a girl she but couldn't answer her question without her heart.

I really enoyed reading this book. I felt sad when the girl's dad died and that's why the chair was empty! I also liked how curious she was. I woud recommend this book to other kids.

At the end of this story it was happy because she put her heart back and started learning about the world again. I would recommend this book.

The girl was so curious about lots of things. She was so brave to swim in the sea. I liked how she was thinking about boats and space. I also liked how she got her heart back at the end

My favourite part was when she found her heart again.

This is an amazing book that deals with tough subjects beautifully. It provoked some deep conversations which were probably harder for me than for Isaac, as he is only 4. As always with Oliver Jeffers books, the pictures and story are beautiful in their simplicity and thoughtfulness. I would definitely recommend this book but it is not a light hearted read.
